Parents also have struggles during the Back to School season searching for their child's favorite character lunchbox, or the hottest label jeans, or whatever the trendy fad of the moment is.
If you are fans of ours on Facebook or follow us on Twitter, you may have noticed Lauren's recent rants about finding a backpack for her son. Of all of the backpacks on the market, he requested a To
m and Jerry Backpack. She's done a ton of searching, high and low, and has had no luck finding one. A fan of 4BabyAndMom suggested a transfer, but now her search has switched over to trying to find a light colored backpack that has a large enough flat surface that would accommodate a transfer.
What backpack does your child want? What was your favorite or most memorable backpack when you were a child?
Tell us, and you could win a $20 gift code to Amazon.com!
CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNER!!
Please refer to our WINNERS PAGE for more information on how to claim your prize!
This giveaway is open to anyone that can use Amazon. This giveaway will end on August 13, 2010 at 11:59pm EST. I got my girls (preschool aged) two different prints of this backpack: Day Pak by Fleurville. They love them. They seem well made and they fit a preschooler better than other backpacks we've tried.

We don't do character-themed backpacks. We got a regular backpack (purple) and our kid loved it until after the Upward Basketball season. All of the players got an Upward-themed backpack and that quickly became the new favorite. Right now, the backpacks are still in good shape so I don't see a new one in the near future.

My son wants an Optimus Prime backpack (Transformers). They only have "Bumblebee" at Target so he didn't want any backpack. I just saw they do have Optimus on Amazon. The funny thing is, he has never even seen the show.

ReplyDeletegomeggo[at]gmail[dot]com
I don't have any memories of specific backpacks, but I still use a simple small black one instead of a purse (never got used to purses). My girls are all about princess and Barbie, so anything with either of those things makes them happy!

My youngest son wanted a Cars backpack. He had his pick from all the ones at Target, and even though I tried to pursuade him to get the TS3 one, he insisted on Cars. It was so cute that he was so insistent that I HAD to get it for him. My favorite as a child was.... probably my high school backpack. It was a Jansport, and lasted me all 4 years. Woohoo! lol
