Fifteen finalists have been chosen, now it's your turn to pay it forward and vote for a school in need to receive $100,000! It takes just a couple of moments to register to vote on the Bing "Our School Needs" promotion. Then, share it with your friends on Twitter and Facebook, and be an important part in a community's life.
As a mom of two children in grade school, I know how important it is to give my time for their school. To help in any way, shape or form that I can.. it's an amazing feeling. With recent budget cuts all over the country, I know that there are a lot of schools struggling to give today's youth the education they deserve, struggling to feed their students the academic knowledge they crave because they don't have the funding they need for proper tools, materials and technology.
Famous actors, actresses and musicians have recently been in the news for donating materials, electronics or funding to schools in need. Most recently, singer Josh Groban visited a local middle school in Queens, NY to drop off brand new musical instruments and participate in chorus class as part of the “Our School Needs” campaign kick-off.

Bing started the "Our School Needs" program to give back to a school in need. With only 5 days left, and 15 finalists- they need YOU to take a moment out of your day to read some of these inspiring stories of schools that strive to give their children everything they can.
In the time it takes you to drink your coffee you can be signed up, logged in, and vote for your favorite submission. A quarter of a million dollars will be split among the winners- imagine what can be done with that extra money for these schools?! The school with the most votes will receive $100,000, and the next three schools will receive $50,000. Can't make up your mind? You can vote up to five times daily.
Wishing your school was part of this awesome event? Well, Bing is giving away up to $900,000 to schools in need through DonorsChoose.org, a non-profit website where public school teachers can post classroom projects that need funding. Be one of the first 30,000 to vote for your favorite finalists each day and receive a $3 donation code to redeem for the classroom project of your choice! Encourage your school to post on DonorsChoose.org for their fundraising needs, and who knows, maybe you can help make a difference in your community too!
What are you waiting for? Pay it forward. Go vote for a finalist at the "Our School Needs" page, then share it with your friends. No matter how old you are, they will think you're pretty cool.
