Sprout Shell Infant Carrier Cover Review and Giveaway!
There are so many products on the market today, claiming to make "being a mom" easier. From diaper bags, to can openers, as a super-mom we sift through newspaper ads and click through the internet to find the best of the best.
In honor of World Breastfeeding Week, I figured I would rave about the Sprout Shell and it's multi-functioning capabilities!
A Sprout Shell, is a fabulously designed piece of fabric that can go from covering your infant carrier (to protect your child from the weather), to a breast feeding cover-up, as well as to a shopping cart cover to protect baby from all the germs on the cart! When I heard about it, I couldn't help but ask if it was truly possible to do all three- but indeed, it is!
...And it looks fabulous while doing it! Available in ten different prints, the Sprout Shell is on my list of must-have's for moms of children newborn through age 3! This product is truly one that "grows with you" and evolves through all of the stages of infancy through toddler years. It's lightweight and portable, and easy to throw in a diaper bag or purse.
It's about time that a product hit the market where a mom can be a super mom, without having to tote around dozens of products! From breastfeeding, to transportation, to preventing your child from playing on the icky surfaces of shopping carts-Sprout Shell truly does it all!
The unique design allows for mom or dad to still have a firm grip on the infant carrier during transport, and the way the Sprout Shell tent's over the carrier still gives baby plenty of space to breathe and play.
I was a little apprehensive about being able to fit my head through the hole to mimic a breast feeding scenario, but I had no troubles whatsoever. The fit was very comfortable, and the option of breastfeeding in public started to seem much easier with this product, than it was when I had my children.
The shopping cart cover is just as awesome as the rest of these features! We actually let Abbie step into the hole, and then sit her in the cart so you can only see from her waist up. This allows us to buckle her in, and allows her to snack away, without worrying about run away goldfish. Shopping is a breeze now!
We received our Sprout Shell to review just after NewBaby was reunited with her birth-parent, so we've only had the opportunity to use ours as a shopping cart cover, (except once while we were babysitting my neighbor's baby, I slipped it over the carrier to get a better idea of the product in use). My neighbor loved it, and tried to "borrow" it several times!
I am thoroughly impressed with this simple, yet chic designer infant carrier cover! (This is seriously one of my favorite products I've reviewed!) You have to check it out- buy it for a baby shower, or a new mom gift, or save it for yourself. Even if your child is out of their infant seat, you should look into this product, because the potential to be able to reuse this product again and again, with subsequent children as well, makes the Sprout Shell an unbeatable buy!
