The first day of school is one of the most exciting, days for your child, and one of the most nerve wracking for mom!
I recently discovered the Etsy shop, a picket fence life, and fell in love with their selection of unique paper bag scrapbooks, journals and tiled jewelry.
The quality and thought that goes into each of the hand-crafted products cannot even be portrayed in the pictures at the shop or on this blog! When I received our School Memories paper bag scrapbook, I was blown away. From the stitching on the binding down to the tags tucked in the paper bag pockets- this scrapbook is simple to personalize, and the perfect keepsake to remember the "firsts" and fun from your child's school year. There are raised embellishments, sparkly stickers, and ribbons galore. It's perfectly neutral for either a boy or a girl, and would make a great gift for grandma or grandpa! If you decided to keep it, after you add your pictures, you could display it proudly at work, or add it to your child's keepsake box.
The pockets allow for you to jot down all of the adorable things your child will say or do on the enclosed tags, and small art work folds nicely into them as well. The size of this scrapbook is only about 5.5”x5.5” but it's completely delightful!
I've recently ordered some of Alex's Second first-day of school pictures- (it's a long story, but we had a mock first day the last day of school at his new school!)- but as soon as the one's I want are here, I will add them to our book and post a finished product! I think I'll be ordering a 1st grade paper bag scrapbook next, as I'm considering *this* to be Alex's first "real" elementary school experience.
Want it? Aren't these items super cute?!? Visit a picket fence life on Etsy, and shop around. Browse the great selection of embellished journals & notebooks (perfect for an older teen, or college student!), and the paper bag scrabooks for remembering the special moments from your pre-k or elementary school child. Be sure to mention that you heard about a picket fence life from 4BabyAndMom!
