I liked it when school resumed, back then it was after Labor Day. I feel so badly for today's young ones that have to start so early.

My son started yesterday and I was apprehensive, but when he came home totally happy, excited, and so looking forward to his first year at his new school I was ecstatic! I'm so glad that he is soooo happy!

I just signed up to follow you on here and am a fan on FB!
My oldest started preschool this year, and I was both happy and sad about it. He's going to a different preschool than all of his friends, and so far it doesn't seem like he's making friends with the other kids in his class, although he's only gone three times. I just want him to make some friends and I'll feel better about our decision for where we're sending him!
I am a subscriber, My little one is too young for back to school but I have many nephews that are gearing up for the new school year. I am sure that I will be a wreck on my little girls first day when it comes.
I'm excited for the kids to go back to school. They (and me) need the structure!
I've entered the foot locker contest today (plus other!!)

Going back to school is a bittersweet time for me. I get so proud of my boys because they are growing into such beautiful, responsible young men. They love the opportunity school affords them. But, on the other hand, they are such a joy to me that I hate seeing them go and grow. I am a blessed mom!
My son started 5th grade this past Wednesday...and it was the first time since Kindergarten that I was really sad. We had a lot of fun this summer and have gotten a lot closer. He is turning 10 next week and I can't believe how fast 10 years has flown by.

Gosh I am on the fence about my daughter going back to school. Usually I'm excited because I get a break from at least 1 kid...lol. However, towards the end of last school year my daughter caught lice for the 1st time..TMI..I know. Ugh, now I'm so scared of her being around all those other kids at school. I seriously cried when she got it & I'll probably break down if she catches it again. :( Anyway, other than that I am happy for her to start learning again!

i am a teacher and spend the whole summer with my children. When school time rolls around, I welcome it LOL.
I am really nervous as my son is entering all day Kindergarten this year.
I don't like the fact that Molly is going to preschool bc it means she's getting older! =(
