Tag A Towel Grand Opening Sale- Keep Your Cooties to Yourself!!

You all know how much I hate laundry. Yes, we reuse our towels, but I still hate it when I step out of the shower, go to grab my towel, and find that it's soaking wet already, or smells like my husband's soap.

What's better than having a way for your husband to stop stealing your towel because he "thought it was his"?? Having a GRAND OPENING SALE to buy the brand new Tag a Towel, that's what!

Check out these things:

How cute are they?!?! They're perfect for families and have another "bubble" set (not pictured above).

Creator and founder, Sarah Burns created these magnetic tags to help identify who's towel is who's in the bathroom without wondering if you're sharing cooties with your husband or the kids. Not only is it great for helping to conserve water, but it's a great way to help prevent the spread of sickness or diseases, such as MRSA.

If you click on the ABOUT section, you can read all about her experience with her baby girl, and how creating this product really became more than "a tool to help me with cutting down on laundry or saving my marriage from towel takings".

Right now, you can save big when you buy two tag packs by using the coupon code "cooties"
at the check out! Check it out, and keep your cooties to yourself!!

Eco Touch Waterless Car Wash & Detailing Products Review + Giveaway!

This summer, 4BabyAndMom.. er, Dad.. got a chance to try out some fabulous products from Eco Touch, an environmentally conscious car care company that creates products free of harmful chemicals and that helps to conserve water, and paper in the process.

The directions on the cleaners say to use microfiber cloths, (which I have several around the house now) but the towel pack they sent was glorious! So nice and thick, and very absorbent.

I held off on posting this review for a little longer than normal because I really wanted to put all of the products to the test. Plus, during the high heat of the summer months in Florida, if you try to clean your car without water, it's usually not going to happen because the chemicals or solution you try to use evaporates instantaneously after hitting the very hot car, (even in at dusk or dawn when the surface is "cooler".)

Anyway, now that the sun's rays are not at it's strongest, we've had more of a chance to take advantage of the entire car care kit and more specifically, the Waterless Car Wash plus Polish.

The car care kit comes packed with all of the cleaners you need to clean your car from top to bottom, inside and out. The sprayers and bottles are 100% recyclable, all of the ingredients are disclosed on the label, and all of the products are MADE IN THE USA! Gentle on the environment, but super tough on dirt, the Carpet & Upholstery cleaner removes spots very easily. The Dashboard Protect does just that and the Metal Polish is great on trim, wheels, and other metal accents.

The two products I use the most are the All Purpose and Window Clear products. The All Purpose Cleaner I've used just about everywhere in the house, as well as on the car. It really is an "All Purpose" cleaner and is great at removing unidentifiable counter goo, miscellaneous sticky stuff from the outside of the fridge, and on the back of the vinyl seats of my car.

I love, love, love, love (did I mention love?) the Window Clear cleaner the most. It keeps the windows in my car and my home streak and fingerprint free like my old blue window cleaner, without the harmful chemicals, or the nasty smell.

Brian's official opinion of the Car Wash + Polish is that it cleaned the car really well, foamed nicely, and left no residue. He needed more microfiber towels than he thought, and then had an epiphany that it's not really "waterless" since we have to throw the towels in the washing machine after he was done- but I reminded him that it would be a combined load, and that the water we would have used with a traditional wash would have been much more. We have a Jeep, so it tends to get a little muddy... it removed the dirt, but Brian thinks that on regular washes, or for families that live in non-rural areas (aka- no dirt/muddy roads, and not after off-roading) that this product would perform the best. City families could really benefit from these products too, as you could clean your whole car in the parking garage, without any hassle!

All in all, we did love all of the products, and would definitely buy them again. These are great products for green families, or for families that are trying to make steps to live a greener lifestyle.Want it?

"What To Expect" and Clorox team up to bring you a healthier home!

Clorox and the makers of the What to Expect series have teamed up to create the What To Expect Guide to a Healthy Home Growth Chart. Download the free ebook guide, with tons of helpful tips HERE! It's jammed packed with tips to help keep your home healthy and clean all year round.

Along with the guide, you can also download a Healthy Home Growth Chart by clicking on the picture to the right, also loaded with great age appropriate tips and ideas!

As a mom of two young children, I feel as if I am forever cleaning around the house, bleaching down plastic toys and scrubbing tables after meal time. With my oldest in school, he comes home with tons of extra germs and unfortunately, we learned the first year just how quickly those little buggers spread!

Since then, as the first day of school approaches I make sure my stash of cleaning supplies is full and ready to roll. My absolute favorite products are the Clorox Anywhere spray, (in fact, I do not think I could live without it!) and Green Works Natural Cleaning Wipes. If you haven't tried the wipes yet, I highly recommend them. They have the power of Clorox, without leaving any chemical residue. Both products are great for wiping down the inside of lunch boxes, the counters in the bathroom, kitchen, or anything you could think of!

How long are you supposed to wash your hands for? That was one question that my son actually asked me when he was about two and a half. According to the Healthy Home Growth Chart, you should: "Make hand washing fun and effective: Have your kids wash their hands in warm, soapy water for as long as it takes to sing the “Happy Birthday” song twice."

Who knew?!

I love the information in both the e-guide, and the growth chart, and wish that they had this when my two were babies. I had no idea there were so many great uses for Clorox regular bleach, aside from making my white laundry whiter, and diluting to disinfect plastic toys. Did you know that you can use it to safely and effectively disinfect baby bottles, diaper pails, and the stoppers in sippy cups that get extra funky in the summer??

Whether you're expecting, a new mom, or a seasoned mom or grandmother, be sure to check out the Clorox website for awesome ideas on how to keep your home cleaner and germ free this back to school season, and all year through!

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Clorox and the What to Expect Guide and received a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.

Nine Naturals Review & Giveaways! Win a Shampoo + a Chance for the SUPER $250 Great Mom Giveaway!

Organic foods and beauty products are all the rage, and why not? I don't know about you, but the ideas of putting cancer causing chemicals into or onto my body just doesn't appeal to me. This fall, we were faced with the possibility that my son had a learning disability or a behavioral problem, so while we were waiting for our doctors appointments, I began researching different foods and products that I could use that would decrease the amount of toxins my family was consuming and using on our bodies. Among the many interesting items I've found, I happened to find the company, Nine Naturals.

Nine Naturals is a top of the line healthy hair care designed just for moms-to-be, (or in my case, health conscious moms). Nine Naturals was originally created for pregnant moms because pre-natal safety is often the number one concern during pregnancy. So, they developed an amazing line of shampoos and conditioners without the chemicals that are suspected to cause harm. Their products contain no parabens, no phthalates, no silicone, no sulfates, and no DEA-EVER. There are chemicals in many beauty products that can lead to birth defects or act like hormones that interfere with the normal reproductive system. Pregnant moms don’t want that and neither does Nine Naturals. They set their quality standards high so that you can be assured that no matter which product you use, you are doing all that you can to feel confident, safe and that your baby is protected.

I recently had the opportunity to try out their wonderful shampoo, and it really is refreshing! I know that Nine Naturals will be a part of our family's daily routine for quite some time! I feel comfortable using Nine Naturals on my hair, as well as on my children. The minty smell is invigorating, and seems to melt the stress of a long day away. Nine Naturals is a "green" eco-friendly solution to your current beauty products.

WANT IT?
Right now, Nine Naturals is giving away a fabulous $250 beauty giveaway on their website by taking the What Kind Of Mom Will You Be? quiz! I entered, and the results told me that I as going to be an "Overprotective" Mom, and my husband agrees. Nobody can mess with my kids, or my beauty products!

The $250 Great Mom Giveaway ends on July 22 and the winners will be announced on July 25th. So head over to Nine Naturals and enter the contest, and leave me a comment if you've done so.

Eco-Friendly, Frunchy, Educational- Children's Music? Bobs & Lolo Review and Giveaway!

Children's music lately has been saturated with and abundance of "knock-off" popular mainstream music, and frankly, is starting to drive me crazy! The classic three note songs of blind mice, boats and stars get old super quickly in my house, and there's only so much Mouse type music I can handle. Searching for music for my kids that meet all of my criteria (educational, fun, easy for Mommy to listen to), has been a super pain, and my children usually just listen to the sounds of each other singing their ABC's. Then I found the music of Bobs & Lolo!
You would expect to hear the catchy tunes of Bobs & Lolo in between Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and Little Einsteins, but not yet! The Canadian Duo have recently debuted on Treehouse TV (February 6th) and they currently have three CD's, and one entrancing DVD available on the market. Since we received our package from Bobs & Lolo, my kids haven't stopped singing and dancing! Abbigaile's favorite song is Raindrop Pop, or "My Raindrop?!" This song teaches about how the rain helps to feed the trees, and how the water cycle works- in a fun and exciting toddler tune! Alexzander loves Right Track, a song about friendship, and we even "Choo-choo" with our arms around the house, or in the car. *My* favorite is the Litterbug Jive, a story of a litter bug named Clyde and how he turns his bad habits into something great! Brian thinks the songs are wonderful- but that we've all gone too green for his liking. Don't be fooled, the other evening when I walked in the door from running errands, he was singing a song while he was loading the dishes!Bobs & Lolo not only have great music, but exceptional customer service. I emailed them with some questions and they responded super quick, and super sweet! Our package even came with some Bobs & Lolo stickers and temporary tattoos, which my kids tore into right away. I am so excited to share Bobs & Lolo with my readers, and my friends, (seriously- if you knew me in real life, you'd know I do *not* get excited about children's music- EVER!).

WANT IT? Check out the official Bobs & Lolo webpage for samples of their albums, and to find the retailer nearest you!

WIN IT! Lorraine & Robyn, the voices behind Bobs and Lolo have offered 4 Baby And Mom readers their chance to win a Bobs & Lolo Gift Pack!

Eco-Friendly Bamboo Leg Huggers Review & Giveaway!

As a mom of a potty training almost-3-year-old, finding tights that are easy to take on and off has been quite difficult. When I received my Fantastic Fuchsia Leg Huggers in the mail, I knew that things were going to get a whole lot easier!

Abbigaile is a very active toddler, even though sh
e likes twirling her hair and pink frilly things, you can often find her jumping, running, and playing with any ball imaginable. She's a tomboy at heart, and is very rough on her clothes. Most durable clothing is too scratchy, then she breaks out in hives and certain blends give her a rash. With her sensitive skin, and I need to be careful with the materials she comes in contact with. We've never owned anything made of Bamboo fibers, but wow these are soft! When we opened the package she beamed a huge smile, and told me they were her tights. So we put them right on, and we were both in LOVE!

"Oooh mommy, deez are soft!" she said, as she stroked her legs. "And look, iz a HEART! Iz two hearts! And more hearts.. Iz mine hearts on my legs!" as she points out the two hearts on her thighs and the row of hearts around each ankle.

They are super soft and comfortable,
breathable, UV protective, odor resistant, and naturally antibacterial. If that's not good enough, they are made with no chemicals or pesticides, so I can feel comfortable knowing she won't break out with them on her little legs!

They are available in 13 fun and stylish patterns, from Retro Argyle to Popsicle Parade as well as two solid pink shades, for more conservative little ladies.

My husband thinks they're adorable too, (but blushes every time my daughter wants to show her upper hearts off), but after we remind her she's a lady- she giggles and drops the hem of her dress. We've washed them several times already, and I am very happy to say that they wear and wash VERY well- no pills, unraveling or fading; other brands have not withheld the extreme activities of Miss Abbigaile at all! I must say I am definitely impressed with the quality of this product! BUY IT!
