Agoo~ Clothes for Active Kids Review and Giveaway!

Now that my son has officially become a "big kid" and joined sports, and has friends come over and play HARD, I've been on a quest to find clothing that will withstand the wear and tear of my son. He is so hard on his clothes! Every time he plays outside, he comes in filthy and usually with a new hole or permanent stain. Not to mention he's usually drenched with sweat and covered in mud.

From the makers of the adorable Leg Huggers 4BabyAndMom reviewed in February, comes an amazing line of clothes for your children that have UV protection, are stain resistant and wick away fibers to keep sweat and moisture away, which help keep kids cool and clean!

Flatlock stitching is used to ensure a smooth layer against the skin, and the Activo-Stretch fabric make these clothes high performance, UPF 50+, active wear with 4-Way Stretch. In English- Your kids can run jump, play, move, get sweaty, dirty and nasty- and stay safe in the sun, cool, clean and collective! Dirt seems to fall right off of this clothing, it's machine washable, and it's super soft!

We received the Racerback T-shirt (pictured above) on the perfect day to try it. Alex had a couple of his friends come over and while I was gardening, they were going to have a play date. Within minutes they were poking at the dirt and helping me dig and my son famously wipes his dirty fingers across his belly. I give him the look, because he knows better but continuously insists on using his shirt as a napkin, tissue, towel.. I digress.. Dirty hand prints are on the shirt, and with a flick of his wrist of his clean hand, I watch in amazement as all of the dirt falls off of the shirt back onto the ground where it belongs. I smile, knowing that this is only the beginning of the day, and cannot wait to see how filthy it looks by bathtime!

By the end of the day, I can honestly say that there was only one little smudge of ketchup on the sleeve (from lunch), but most importantly- all of the dirt had not stuck at all! I washed it, and air dried it, and it looked brand new. The next time he wore it, the same thing happened. It's like stains don't exist with this fabric! Oh and it's so soft- I wish they made adult clothes out of it! Alex loves it, and his friends thought it was cool! The Agoo line has indeed surprised me, because I honestly thought it would not survive my Alexzander, but instead it has become a favorite shirt in our family!

Eco-Friendly Bamboo Leg Huggers Review & Giveaway!

As a mom of a potty training almost-3-year-old, finding tights that are easy to take on and off has been quite difficult. When I received my Fantastic Fuchsia Leg Huggers in the mail, I knew that things were going to get a whole lot easier!

Abbigaile is a very active toddler, even though sh
e likes twirling her hair and pink frilly things, you can often find her jumping, running, and playing with any ball imaginable. She's a tomboy at heart, and is very rough on her clothes. Most durable clothing is too scratchy, then she breaks out in hives and certain blends give her a rash. With her sensitive skin, and I need to be careful with the materials she comes in contact with. We've never owned anything made of Bamboo fibers, but wow these are soft! When we opened the package she beamed a huge smile, and told me they were her tights. So we put them right on, and we were both in LOVE!

"Oooh mommy, deez are soft!" she said, as she stroked her legs. "And look, iz a HEART! Iz two hearts! And more hearts.. Iz mine hearts on my legs!" as she points out the two hearts on her thighs and the row of hearts around each ankle.

They are super soft and comfortable,
breathable, UV protective, odor resistant, and naturally antibacterial. If that's not good enough, they are made with no chemicals or pesticides, so I can feel comfortable knowing she won't break out with them on her little legs!

They are available in 13 fun and stylish patterns, from Retro Argyle to Popsicle Parade as well as two solid pink shades, for more conservative little ladies.

My husband thinks they're adorable too, (but blushes every time my daughter wants to show her upper hearts off), but after we remind her she's a lady- she giggles and drops the hem of her dress. We've washed them several times already, and I am very happy to say that they wear and wash VERY well- no pills, unraveling or fading; other brands have not withheld the extreme activities of Miss Abbigaile at all! I must say I am definitely impressed with the quality of this product! BUY IT!
Go to the LEG HUGGERS website and pick out your favorite designs and enter the coupon code MOMLEG10 to save 10% off of your purchase now until 3/1/09!
